What is fascism? – Interview with professor Roger Griffin – Paradigmeskiftet – en podcast om moderne højreradikalisme
This episode is an appendix of sorts to my podcast "Paradigmeskiftet". It's centered around an old interview I did with the British academic Roger Griffin in the summer of 2021. Griffin is a professor of modern history at Oxford Brookes University and has studied fascism for decades. He's written many books on the subject, including The Nature of Fascism (1991) and is often considered one of the most influential academics in the field. The topic for the interview is fascism, something many people, even to this day, have trouble clearly defining. Griffin has presented us with a definition that allows us to get a better grasp of the ideology. I talked to him about how he came up with it and how he got interested in fascism in the first place.
